This page will have a list of books I highly recommend. I read all kinds of books- everything from historical books to science fiction and fantasy. But, that isn't what you will find here. Here, you will find a list of books that will help improve your life in certain areas- spiritually, emotionally, physically, etc. If you are taking the journey to read any of these books, feel free to join my Facebook group: Read yourself to a healthy lifestyle. I really believe that if we take the time to read certain books and work through the steps in them, we come out a little better than we were before. Some of the books below might fall into multiple categories, but I have put them in the one that the author seems to classify them as.
Physically
Push by Chalene Johnson- This book is excellent. This would be one of those books that could probably be in every category. She doesn't just help you change your eating habits and find the perfect workout. But, she also helps you figure out your priorities, master you to-do list, and sooooo much more.
Bring it! by Tony Horton- This is the guy behind p90x. In this book he helps you get started with a healthy eating program and a great workout.
Spark by Chris Downie- This is the guy behind Sparkpeople.com. Great book and a great website to help you get started on changing your lifestlye.
Made to Crave by Lysa Terkeurst. This book helps you move from satisying your deepest desires with food... to satisfying them with God. It gives a great Christian perspective on healthy lifestyles.
